Check In / Check Out

At what time is check-in?

Hotels rooms are available from 3.30pm onwards.

 

At what time is check-out?

Check-out is at 12.00noon.

 

Can I organise an early check-in?

Early check-in is subject to availability by phoning the hotel on the day.

 

Can I request a late check out?

Yes, late check outs are done by request at a cost of €20 per hour.

 

What is the reception opening hours?

The reception is open 24 hours, our reception team will be at your service day and night.

Reservations

What is the best price guarantee?

When booking through our website www.theellsionhotel.ie, or directly by phone +353 94 9286200, we guarantee, that you will get the best available rate.

 

Are the rates per person or per room?

All prices, unless stated otherwise on our website, are on a per-room-basis.

 

Can I also book breakfast online? What does it cost?

The Ellison hotel do offer packages where breakfast is already included in the rate. For rates which do not have breakfast included, there is of course the possibility to have breakfast. The cost for breakfast is €14.00 per adult or €7.50 per child. Breakfast times are to be booked in advance.

 

Can children share my room?

Yes, children are welcome to stay in our family rooms. To request a family room or with more specific accommodation requests please contact us on 094 9286200 and we’d be happy to assist.

 

Do you offer wheelchair accessible rooms?

Yes, the hotel has wheelchair accessible rooms with appropriate accessible equipment, when making a reservation please note on the booking that a wheelchair accessible room is required.

 

When is my card charged for my reservation?

Payment Policy: All credit cards/ Debit cards provided to make the reservation will be charged in full 24 hours in advance of your stay, or if booked on a third-party website payment will be taken 48 hours in advance of your stay. Advance purchase rates are charged in full at time of booking and are non-refundable.

What is the hotels cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy: Bookings must be cancelled 24 hours in advance of your arriving date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice the first night’s cost of your stay will be charged. For a third-party website cancelation must be processed through their website subject to their terms and conditions.

 

How do I book groups into the hotel?

Bedroom Facilities

Does the hotel have family or interconnecting guestrooms?

Our executive guestrooms accommodate 3 guests with one double bed and one single bed. Family Deluxe rooms accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. We have a limited number of Interconnecting rooms, to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children. Please contact the Hotel for further details. For further information on our room types click here.

 

Do you offer wheelchair accessible rooms?

Yes, the hotel has wheelchair accessible rooms with appropriate accessible equipment, when making a reservation please note on the booking that a wheelchair accessible room is required.

 

Do you offer tea/coffee making facilities in the guestrooms?

Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all guestrooms.

 

Do you provide irons and ironing boards for use during my stay?

Yes, irons and an ironing boards are available in every guestroom.

 

Do you have a hair dryer in the rooms?

 

Yes all guestrooms have a hair dryer.

 

Does the hotel supply cots for babies / small children?

A number of cots are available. Please inform reservations of your requirements at the time of booking.

 

Is WIFI available at the hotel / in the guestrooms?

WIFI is available free of charge in the guestrooms and public areas.

Can I bring my pet?

The Hotel has a no pet policy, only certified service dogs are permitted in our hotel. There are two pet boarding kennels within a 20 to 40 minutes’ drive of the hotel.

Are smoking rooms available at the hotel?


Smoking is not permitted. We would like to advise you that The Ellison is a non-smoking hotel. A fee of €200 will be charged for any exceptional cleaning work required as a result of your stay.

 

Is there lift access to the rooms?


There is lift access to all hotel floors and to the multi-story carpark.

 

Does the Ellison Hotel have a restaurant?


The Siar Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Hotel open for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner daily.

Do you have a leisure centre?

No, we do not have a leisure centre, there is a new state of the art public leisure centre within a 5-minute walk of the hotel, go to: www.leisurecomplexloughlannagh.ie for further information.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served daily from 7.00am – 10.00am Monday to Friday and 8.00am – 11.00am Saturday and Sunday

 

What time is lunch served?

What time is dinner served?

If you suffer from any allergies, it is very important that the exact nature of such allergies is notified to us at the time of booking or If you have any special dietary requirements, please notify us at time of booking.

Do you have meeting room facilities?

We offer a range of meeting rooms and event suites, with capacity for up to 100 delegates, providing a choice of room layout tailored to your requirements to include room hire, coffee breaks, light lunch, dinner and bed and breakfast packages. Extensive car parking facilities are available at the hotel at no extra charge for all of our customers.

Carparking

Is parking available at the hotel?

Yes, complimentary carparking is available for all hotel guests. The hotel guest carpark is the multi-storey car park adjacent to the hotel, with direct access to the hotel.

 

Do you have disabled parking available?

There are parking spaces closest to the hotel entrance which are reserved for guests with mobility difficulties. We also have designated parking spaces in the multi-storey carpark adjacent to the hotel.

 

Do you have an Electric Vehicle Charging Point?

No, the nearest Electric Vehicle Charging Point is in Circle K Service station straight across the road from the Ellison Hotel
