Bikes & Boards - Opened its doors in summer 2015. Since then thay have become the number one activity in Castlebar. Bikes & Boards is the premier bike hire company serving the Castlebar to Turlough Greenway. Starting on the shores of Lough Lannagh and stretching 8km to the National Museum of Country Life in Turlough. They hire bicycle and equipment to suit all ages and abilities. For the little ones - The recently completed Playground on the Grounds of Turlough Park House/ National Museum of Country Life  has won the award for best Public Playground in the Southern Ireland.

Turlough House and National Museum of Country Life is located on 37 acres of landscaped gardens, which include many rare trees, shrubs and fine broad-leaved mature trees. The house is built on an elevated plateau overlooking a dried up artificial lake, which contains three islands, relaxing trails surround the gardens for that leisurely stroll, taking in all that nature has to offer.
